Who Should Use WorkClues?

Fletcher Challenge Limited

WorkClues designed and conducted a strategic partnering process between two of New Zealand’s leading building and construction companies: Firth and PlaceMakers, involving over 100 employees from both companies and stakeholders. The resulting strategic plan delivered the process for reconstructing both businesses.

Amcom (ASX:AMM)

WorkClues was commissioned by ASX listed Amcom telecommunications company, to embark on a business transformation of it’s workplace. The process was a game changer defying conventional corporate measurements. Over an extended period following the intervention, the market capitalization of the business increased 14 fold and at the same time, the work environment changed from top-down to a high level of engagement and most critically, a fun workplace was created.

John Holland-Transfield

WorkClues facilitated a strategic alliance between John Holland, Transfield, Westinghouse O’Donnell and Griffen, Maunsell McIntyre to secure the winning bid for infrastructure upgrade for the Regional Fast Train Project, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Siemens Asia-Pacific

WorkClues was contracted to lead a three day conference entitled Power Generation/Instrumentation & Controls Forum: Maximising Your Profit. This involved designing a plan for power plant executives and operatives from the Asia-Pacific region to maximise their plant’s success using the latest innovations in power generation management.

Transfield-Obayashi

WorkClues facilitated a Strategic Alliance between Transfield and Obayashi to secure the winning bid for the Paramatta Rail Link, Sydney.

Small to Medium Enterprises

South Perth Investments Pty Ltd

WorkClues was contracted to design and implement corporate change and a worksites improvement process within South Perth Investment's two primary operations SP4WD and Corefleet.

Waves Surfwear

WorkClues was contracted to work with the owners of Waves Surfware, one of Australia’s most profitable chain of retail outlets for surf clothes and accessories. As`well as coaching the company’s executives, future business scenarios were developed and company structure planned for business expansion.

Workplace Australia

WorkClues was selected as one of the lead facilitators for Workplace Australia International’s Designing the Future – Workplace Relations in Australia conference in Melbourne. The forum brought together 735 national and international workplace leaders, political figures including the Prime Minister, futurists and socio-technical scientists. Following on from Workplace Australia, WorkClues conducted the Western Australian regional follow-up conference, held in Perth, entitled The WA – Workplace Reform Conference.

Organisations

Canterbury Area Health Board, Christchurch, New Zealand

WorkClues conducted planning for a city resource centre, involving business plans, human resource forecasting, training program development, sponsorship proposals, press liaison, facilitating community input seminars and professional briefing workshops.

Claremont Football Club

WorkClues conducted a participative future planning conference to examine all aspects of the club’s performance, which enabled the Club to move from its inherent belief that it was a sports club to the realisation that it was an entertainment body – this allowed the Club to view itself differently, thereby creating new ways of improving performance (on and off the field) and increasing the Club’s revenue streams and profitability.

West Australian Insurance Brokers Association (WAIBA)

WorkClues designed and conducted a participative strategic business plan for the WAIBA’s members to enable their organisation to become pro-active and customer focused. Hard decisions regarding strategic alliances, membership and funding base were resolved.

West Australian Wheelchair Sports Association (WSAWA)

WorkClues designed and conducted a major stakeholder participative planning conference to reconstruct the WSAWA business. Over 20 business projects were agreed upon as core future business. All have been successful revenue generating streams during the three years since implementation.

Government

Brisbane City Council

WorkClues was commissioned to design and conduct strategic planning workshops that would successfully bring together all Heads of Departments, Councillors, Chief Officers, Aldermen, Union Heads and the Lord Mayor. The purpose was to assist the City to reach agreement on their collective business plans and processes. The resulting process produced unification for the Council with significant enhancement of business outcomes based on reducing the duplication of resources and co-operation in the implementation of new ideas.

Department of Employment, Vocational Education and Training (DEVET)

WorkClues was commissioned to amalgamate two WA Government Departments; TAFE- Technical and Further Education and DET-Department of Employment and Training. This involved facilitating the top 25 senior executives of TAFE and DET to amalgamate and produce the resultant DEVET (Department of Education, Vocational Education and Training) 5 year Strategic Plan. This structural and cultural change process with the executive staff resulted in WorkClues winning several contracts for strategic and operational planning in numerous functional sections with DEVET.

Northern Territory Government — Australia

WorkClues designed and conducted a planning conference for Northern Territory’s top fifty corporate organisations to examine implementation of identified quality of working life strategies.

Telstra

WorkClues planned and facilitated a cultural change process for Telstra to respond to increase competition in the Australian telecommunications marketplace. The process comprised 27 regional work reform conferences for field staff and their partners, front line supervisors, senior management and customers to reconstruct Telstra’s Western Australian Country Division.

Western Australian Tourism Commission (WATC)

WorkClues was engaged to conduct a comprehensive strategic and functional review of the WATC to establish the government’s renewed role in the industry. Designed and facilitated 12 conferences, conducted a public submission process and one-on-one interviews with key personnel from industry, government and other relevant sections of the community. The resulting report contributed to shaping the WA Tourism Commission and the tourism industry in Western Australia.
